Jonathan Reeve Price, Lake Maracaibo Under Clouds, 2015, Aluminum Print
Lake Maracaibo opens to a narrow channel to the Gulf of Venezuela, part of the Caribbean Sea. When America Vespucci came to this area on August 24, 1499, he found people living on houses built on stilts in the lake, with walkways connecting them. This settlement reminded him of Venice (Venezia in Italian), so he named the country “Little Venice,” or Venezuela.

We print on aluminum, then protect the surface with a matte lamination. We attach mounting hardware to the back, and add the artist's signature on a label identifying the picture, and giving its number in the edition.
We package the print in tissue paper and extra layers of cardboard. We ship via US Priority Mail, insured.
